Today's Word of Blessing

THE ETERNAL MANSIONEvangeline Paul Dhinakaran

The LORD your God is with you, he is mighty to save. He will take great delight in you, he will quiet you with his love, he will rejoice over you with singing.    (Zephaniah 3:17)
  Dearly beloved,

Recently, we went to Israel to get the key for the Israel Prayer Tower. All of us, including those who had accompanied us were very happy, when we got the key.

We opened the building and stepped in, shouting joyously, “Lord, we thank You for bringing us to the land of Israel and helping us to possess the 20th floor of such a big building.”

This glorious deed which the Lord has done for the Jesus Calls ministry was like a dream to us. I rejoiced in the spirit thinking, ‘Oh! We are happy over this building; how much more we will be happy when the Lord shows us the mansion He has built for us in heaven!”

Once the Prayer Tower in Israel is dedicated, Christian leaders not only from India but also from many other nations and people from the Prayer Towers all over the world will come there. When they thus step in considering it as their own house, they will utter prophecies and the Lord will do great things.

After my father died, my husband’s father Bro. D.G.S. Dhinakaran saw a vision and shared it with me. He said, “I saw your father in heaven; he is happily walking around a big and beautiful flower garden. While on earth, he used to wear only white shirts; but in heaven I was surprised to see him dressed up in a bright coloured dress with floral designs."

On hearing this, I told him, “My father was very fond of gardening; most of the time, he would be in the garden gazing at the plants and flowers. That’s why the Lord has taken him to the garden in heaven.”

Then he wanted to know why my father was wearing a shirt with floral designs. I told him, “Actually, my father loved to wear such shirts. Once he went to a shop and bought a bright coloured one with floral designs. But as he kept on looking at it, he developed severe headache and started vomiting. So he removed it and said that he would wear only white shirts from then onwards.

"As he could not wear the desired shirt on this earth, the Lord has clothed him with such attire after he went to heaven.” Hearing that, he wondered because he never knew about all these. But how beautifully God had shown him this wonderful sight!

Yes, the things which we desire but could not enjoy in this world will be given for us in heaven by the Lord. He will fulfill even our smallest desire. What a good God we have!

Dearly beloved, when we go to the temple of God (His presence), He will exalt us and make us rejoice; He will give us the life of resurrection and make us happy. He will make us rejoice in His eternal home. May the Lord fill you with His presence and make you glad!

The Bible says, “The LORD your God is with you, he is mighty to save. He will take great delight in you, he will quiet you with his love, he will rejoice over you with singing” (Zephaniah 3:17). The Almighty God who is powerful to deliver you is with always with you. He will comfort you with His love and rejoice over you.

Prayer:

Loving Lord Jesus,

You are my Heavenly Father. You have promised to grant your blessings to your children. I trust in your promises. Give me the grace to live faithfully before You and receive the reward you have in store for me. Enable me to rejoice in the hope of eternity.

I ask this through Christ our Lord

Amen.

GOD GIVES PEACEStella Dhinakaran

Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.    (John 14:27)
The Dhinakarans Dearly beloved,

On 21st May 1986, I lost my precious daughter who was 17 years old in a tragic car accident. After this tragedy, I was about to preach for the first time. That morning, I prepared my sermon with much prayer.

As I was about to leave for the meeting, I heard as if someone was saying, “Stella, what are you going to preach there? Can you say that God can do miracles? He did not perform a miracle for you. You have lost your daughter. Then how can you preach that the Lord is good?”

I knew it was the voice of the devil who wanted to prevent me from preaching the Gospel. At that moment, my heart was shattered and tears started welling up in my eyes. Immediately the Holy Spirit told me, “Go with confidence. I will grant you the necessary strength to preach.” Since I shed my tears at the feet of God, He filled me with His Holy Spirit in an abundant measure.

When I got up to preach, I was scared whether I would break down. I thought, in that case, the people would be disappointed. But the Lord strengthened me and used me mightily that day. After the meeting, a sister pushed through the crowd, came to me and hugged me. She said, “Sister, recently I lost my child. So I thought that I would not do the Lord’s ministry again. But your message was of great consolation to me. The Lord has now given me the confidence to do His ministry.”

The Lord says, “Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid” (John 14:27). The Bible advises, “Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus” (Philippians 4:6,7).

As mentioned in the above Scripture verses, the Lord of peace Himself will grant you His peace and comfort you. He has already carried all your sorrows on the cross (Isaiah 53:4). He has swallowed up death for ever (Isaiah 25:8). So kindly do not be worried. He will build up your family and turn your sorrow into joy.

Prayer:

Loving Lord Jesus,

You have swallowed up death for ever. You have carried all my sorrows on the cross. Restore comfort to my soul and strengthen my faith. Let your peace rule my heart. Wipe away my tears and turn my sorrow into joy.

I ask this through Christ our Lord.

Amen.

Today's Word of Blessing

GOD WILL REWARD YOUStella Dhinakaran

Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap.    (Luke 6:38)
The Dhinakarans Dearly beloved, God will richly reward you.

Many years ago, my husband and I had to face financial problems. After the 20th of every month, we would not have money at all. I was very prudent in spending. Hence I didn’t appoint a maid to do the household work. I did all the work myself. But still, there was no end to our financial problems.

It was at that time the Lord spoke to us through the Holy Spirit. He said, “Give your income into My hand. I will bless it and increase it.” Accordingly, as soon as my husband got his salary, both of us would kneel down and pray.

My son Paul Dhinakaran was just three years old then. We would give the salary in his hand and place our hands upon it and pray for God to bless it. Then the Lord blessed my husband with a promotion in his job and thus increased his salary. That is how the Lord changed our financial condition.

The Lord says, “Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. Test me in this," says the LORD Almighty, "and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that you will not have room enough for it” (Malachi 3:10).

During the initial stages of my married life, I did not know the importance of tithing. Since my husband’s salary was very meager, I was wondering as how we could manage the whole month after giving one tenth of his salary to God. I was gripped by unbelief. But my husband was very faithful in giving his tithe every month.

The Lord who promised, “I will open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that you will not have room enough for it,” proved this promise true in my life hundred percent. The hand of God began to supply all our needs in a miraculous manner every month.

Dearly beloved, the Bible says, “Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap” (Luke 6:38). You too should be careful in giving one tenth of your income to the Lord. Then the Lord will bless you in an abundant measure.

Prayer:

Loving Lord Jesus,

You are my Provider. I trust in You. Bless the work of my hands. Bless my income and increase it. Resolve my financial problem. Throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out your blessing upon me. Supply all my needs in a miraculous manner.

I ask this through Christ our Lord.

Amen.

GOD ANSWERS YOUR CRYStella Dhinakaran

The lions may grow weak and hungry, but those who seek the LORD lack no good thing.    (Psalm 34:10)
The Dhinakarans Dearly beloved, God will not ignore your tears. He will listen to your cry for help and deliver you from distress.

In 1969, my husband Bro. D.G.S. Dhinakaran fell very sick. Both his lungs were affected. The doctors told me, “At the most, your husband may live just for one more month.” I felt as if I was left all alone. Both my children were too small at that time. I did not know what to do.

At this juncture, my husband said, “Day by day, I am becoming very weak. I do not know when I will die.” When I heard it, I was shattered. Immediately, I clung on to the feet of God and cried out to Him. The Lord heard my prayer and graciously healed my husband in a miraculous manner. He also started using him mightily in His ministry.

Dearly beloved, please do not think that you have been forsaken by everyone. Don’t think that your life has come to an end. Instead, cling on to God firmly.

The Lord has abundant blessings in store for you as mentioned in the following Scripture verses: No longer will they call you Deserted, or name your land Desolate. But you will be called Hephzibah, and your land Beulah; for the LORD will take delight in you, and your land will be married. You will be a crown of splendor in the Lord's hand, a royal diadem in the hand of your God” (Isaiah 62:4,3).

The Bible says, “The lions may grow weak and hungry, but those who seek the LORD lack no good thing” (Psalm 34:10). Accordingly, when you lead a righteous life, you will lack no good thing in life.

Prayer:

Loving Lord Jesus,

I seek You above all things in life. I cling on to You firmly. Deliver me from my distress. Bestow favour and honour upon me. Make me a crown of splendor in your hand. Fill me with good things. May I lack nothing in life.

I ask this through Christ our Lord.

Amen.

REAPING IN JOYPaul Dhinakaran

Those who sow in tears shall reap in joy.    (Psalm 126:5)
The Dhinakarans Dearly beloved, how true is the following promise of God: “Those who sow in tears will reap with songs of joy” (Psalm 126:5).

Every day, thousands of people get in touch with the Jesus Calls ministry seeking our prayers. Since we have offered ourselves as living sacrifices to do His ministry even amidst our afflictions and tears, the Lord is using us mightily for His glory.

Dearly beloved, the Lord will also grant you the same grace. Probably you have lived your life as a living sacrifice for Him even amidst your sorrow and tears. Perhaps you have borne everything patiently just for the sake of the Lord.

So the Lord who has blessed our family and ministry in an abundant measure will certainly open the floodgates of heaven and bless you too. He will bless you in such a way that there will not be room enough to store those blessings. He will remove your sorrow and wipe away your tears. He will also increase you a thousand times (Deuteronomy 1:11).

The Lord will specially bless His servants openly who are doing His ministry amidst tears and humiliation, because they have offered themselves as living sacrifices. He will enlarge their territories. Whatever they do will prosper and they will have eternal joy.

The devil will never trouble them and they will carry the Word of God joyfully. As they sow in tears, they will reap with joy. The Lord will comfort them, console them and reward them hundred times both in their family life and in their ministry. They will see this happening from today.

Prayer:

Loving Lord Jesus,

I offer myself as a living sacrifice to You. I choose to serve You wholeheartedly. Open the floodgates of heaven and bless me as You have promised. Remove my sorrow and wipe away my tears. Prosper me in all things. Reward me hundred times. Enable me to reap a harvest of blessings with songs of joy.

I ask this through Christ our Lord.

Amen.

OUR EVER PRESENT HELPEvangeline Paul Dhinakaran

God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble.    (Psalm 46:1)
The Dhinakarans Dearly beloved, the Psalmist says, “I am poor and needy; may the Lord think of me” (Psalm 40:17). Probably you are poor and needy. But the Lord who delivered David from all his troubles will surely deliver you and help you as well.

The Psalmist describes as to how the Lord helped him in the following Scripture verses:

“…You have been my helper” (Psalm 27:9). “The cords of death entangled me, the anguish of the grave came upon me; I was overcome by trouble and sorrow. Then I called on the name of the LORD: ‘O LORD, save me!’

"…When I was in great need, He saved me. …For you, O LORD, have delivered my soul from death, my eyes from tears, my feet from stumbling” (Psalm 116:3-8).

You may be facing a lot of afflictions today. Probably you are crying, “Lord, look at my afflictions and tears. Please deliver my soul.” The Lord shall be with you and help you.

I present below the testimony of Sis. Maheswari Loganathan. She describes as how she walked through the valley of tears and how the Lord delivered her from all her problems.

“I am married for 22 years. My husband was addicted to alcohol for nearly 17 years. Every day, he would come home fully drunk. So there was no peace at home. We used to quarrel all the time. I spent all my days in tears.

"At this juncture, I happened to watch ‘The Hour of Hope’ programme on TV. In that particular programme, Sis. Evangeline Paul Dhinakaran prayed specially for those who were under the clutches of alcoholism. I too joined her and prayed with tears for my husband. I also enrolled my family in the Jesus Calls Family Blessing Plan. The Lord saw my tears. He heard the prayers of Sis. Evangeline and miraculously delivered my husband from the evil habit of drinking liquor.

"Moreover, I suffered a lot for the past five years due to a fracture in my hip bone. The doctors advised me to undergo a surgery. But the Lord heard our prayers and healed me miraculously without any surgery. I offer millions of praises to God for helping me.”

Job says, “But he knows the way that I take; when he has tested me, I will come forth as gold” (Job 23:10). In the same way, you will also come forth as gold. You will surely see the deliverance granted to you by the Lord.

Psalmist David says, “God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble” (Psalm 46:1). God is a refuge for the oppressed. He is the source of our strength. He is always waiting to help us in times of trouble. Trust in Him at all times. He will surely deliver you.

Prayer:

Loving Lord Jesus,

You are my refuge and strength. I am poor and needy. I call upon your name in the time of my great need. I trust in You at all times. Please remember me and look at my tears. Deliver me from all my troubles.

I ask this through Christ our Lord.

Amen.

GOD, OUR ETERNAL HELPEvangeline Paul Dhinakaran

And my God will meet all your needs according to his glorious riches in Christ Jesus.     (Philippians 4:19)
The Dhinakarans Dearly beloved, the Bible says, “'For I am the LORD, your God, who takes hold of your right hand and says to you, Do not fear; I will help you. Do not be afraid, O worm Jacob, O little Israel, for I myself will help you,' declares the LORD, your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel” (Isaiah 41:13,14).

As mentioned in the above Scripture verses, the Lord is your eternal help. So you need not depend on any human being.

There lived an elderly lady who was always filled with the Holy Spirit. So she would praise God all the time and was very happy in the Lord.

She would always pray to God for all her needs, and the Lord also heard her prayers and supplied all her needs every day. So she would keep on telling her neighbours that her Lord has supplied all her needs. She would tell the same to everyone in the street. This irritated her neighbours.

Two mischievous children near her house wanted to teach her a lesson. One day, they heard her praying for God to supply her breakfast. These two boys climbed on to the roof of her house and dropped a loaf of bread and some meat through the chimney.

When the old lady opened her eyes after the prayer, she was thrilled to see the loaf of bread and the meat. She began to tell everyone that the Lord gave her the loaf and the meat. The two mischievous children heard her saying so. So they told her, “Granny, the Lord has not supplied your breakfast. We only dropped the loaf and the meat through the chimney.” Immediately, the old lady started praising God saying, “Lord, I praise You for supplying my breakfast through these little devils.”

Dearly beloved, this is how the Lord supplied the needs of that old lady every day. She too depended on the Lord completely placing all her trust upon Him. Probably you too may have many needs in your life today. When you too cling on to God just like this old lady, He will supply all your needs.

The Bible says, “And my God will meet all your needs according to his glorious riches in Christ Jesus” (Philippians 4:19). God is our Provider. Trust in His divine provision and depend on Him for your needs. He will bless you abundantly. You will lack nothing in life.

Prayer:

Loving Lord Jesus,

You are my eternal help. You are my Provider. I trust in your divine provision. I depend on You for my needs. Please listen to my request and bless me abundantly. Supply all my needs every day. May I lack nothing in life. I give You all the glory.

I ask this through Christ our Lord

GOD SUPPLIES OUR NEEDSEvangeline Paul Dhinakaran

He fulfills the desires of those who fear him; he hears their cry and saves them.    (Psalm 145:19)
The Dhinakarans Dearly beloved, God will fulfill all your needs. I present below the testimony of Bro. Kurian Jose who received God’s blessings in his life:

"I got married in 2001. My first daughter is Sherlin and my second son is Samuel. Initially, we were living peacefully. But as days passed by, we started facing problems.

"At this juncture, I was selected for the job of a sanitary worker. Considering the condition of my family, I took up the job with much reluctance. Normally, I would work just for 3 months or 8 months or maximum a year in any place. I would never stick to a job permanently.

"During 2009, we were going through much poverty. I lost my job and we could not have three square meal a day. We had no money to pay the school fees for our children. Several times, we received warning letters from the school. All our relatives forsook us.

"One day, my wife approached one of our relatives for help, but he refused. She was heartbroken. She cried out to God saying, 'Lord Jesus, why should I go through this poverty? I am unable to give proper food for my children. I have become a useless person. Lord, please change the condition of my family and bless us.' After the prayer, the Lord changed the heart of that relative and he helped us in a small way. With that money, I could pay my children’s school fees. I could not even buy the eatables which my children wanted.

"One day, I was really heartbroken and hence I wanted to commit suicide. So I thought of taking an insurance policy. I thought if I committed suicide, at least my children would get the money. Immediately I phoned up my friend. He advised me saying, 'Do not commit suicide. Lord Jesus Christ is alive even today. He will certainly help you. There is a Jesus Calls Prayer Festival going on in Vellore. You attend this meeting and surely God will do a miracle for you.'

"Accordingly, as a family, we attended the Jesus Calls Prayer Festival held in Vellore during January 2010. I told the Lord, ‘Lord Jesus, I have come for this meeting and this is my last meeting.’ However, I participated in the prayer with much faith. During the prayer time, Dr. Paul Dhinakaran said, “The Lord says, 'So far you have gone through the path of difficulty, the path of sorrow and the path of shame. But I will do everything only for your good, my children. I will prosper the work of your hands and make you rejoice'” Those words removed all the sorrow from my heart and I was filled with joy.

"We participated in those meetings on all the 3 days and returned to Bengaluru. That night, around 10’o clock, someone phoned me and said, 'Mr. Kurian, there is a manager’s post vacant. Can you attend the interview?' Accordingly, the next day, I attended the interview. That same day, I received my appointment order. I was amazed to know that I would be paid Rs. 25,000/- per month as salary. The Lord not only blessed me who was doing the sanitary work with a manager’s job, but also enabled me to get Rs. 25,000/ - per month as salary. During the first month, I just worked for nine days. But still I received the full salary.

"I had already pledged that I would donate my first salary to the Jesus Calls ministry. Accordingly, I sent my first salary to the ministry. Then every month, I started supporting the various facets of the Jesus Calls ministry. The Lord enabled us to enjoy double portion of His blessings. Presently, I am receiving Rs. 40,000/- per month as salary. Yes, the Lord is showering His blessings upon our family. He Himself is guiding our family and we are very happy.”

Dearly beloved, it is the Lord who saved this brother and his family who wanted to commit suicide and enabled them to live happily. He saved, healed and comforted their souls and blessed them in an abundant measure. In the same way, He will prosper you also. The Lord will certainly prosper you in everything just as your soul prospers.

The Bible says, “He fulfills the desires of those who fear him; he hears their cry and saves them” (Psalm 145:19). God will listen to your earnest prayers and miraculously deliver you from your troubles. He will fulfill all your needs.

Prayer:

Loving Lord Jesus,

You are the Living God. I cry out to You for your divine assistance. Hear my cry for help and deliver me from my troubles through a miracle. Prosper the work of my hands. Enable me to enjoy double portion of your blessings. Remove all sorrow from my heart and fill me with joy.

GOD WILL DELIVER YOUPaul Dhinakaran

The angel of the LORD encamps all around those who fear Him, And delivers them.     (Psalm 34:7)
The Dhinakarans Dearly beloved, our God is the mighty Deliverer. He will never forsake you.

Some years ago, a certain young man came to the Jesus Calls office. He was born in a very influential family. His father was a big merchant. No one in his family desired to know Lord Jesus.

But this young man had a great love for Lord Jesus since his boyhood. He loved the Jesus Calls ministry also. He wouldn’t go to see any film, and all the time he would be engaged with the Jesus Calls audio/ video cassettes.

His parents feared that he won’t attend to the family’s business but become a preacher. They prevented him from attending the Jesus Calls meetings. On those days when meetings were held, they would lock him inside a room. Yes! Very often, those of our own household may turn against us.

Our God is merciful. He is mighty to deliver you from all your problems. The Bible says, “The angel of the LORD encamps all around those who fear Him, And delivers them” (Psalm 34:7). When you call upon the Lord, He will hear your cry. He will miraculously deliver you from all your problems. He will command His angels to guard you. He will enable you to lead a peaceful life.

Prayer:

Loving Lord Jesus,

I call upon You for help. You are mighty to deliver me from all my problems. Please hear my cry and have mercy on me. I trust in You for your divine help. Deliver me from all my problems through your mighty power. Help me to lead a peaceful life.

LIFE THROUGH THE CROSSStella Dhinakaran

For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.    (John 3:16)
The Dhinakarans Dearly beloved, Lord Jesus Christ said, “I am the way, the truth and the life” (John 14:6).

Once when I was travelling in a plane to another country, I looked through the window while the plane was taxiing in the runway. Then I was amazed to see a small vehicle guiding the big plane. It had the legend “Follow Me” written on it. Although the plane was a huge one, it had to follow that small vehicle in order to reach its destination in the airport.

In the same way, Lord Jesus Christ also says, “If anyone would come after Me, he must deny himself and take up his cross daily and follow Me” (Luke 9:23; Luke 5:27).

When Lord Jesus Christ sojourned on this earth, He went into the region of Judea and across the Jordan. That time, a man ran up to Him and fell on his knees and asked, “Good Teacher, what must I do to inherit eternal life?” Lord Jesus replied, “Go, sell everything you have and give to the poor and you will have treasure in heaven. Then take up your cross and follow Me.” Hearing that his face fell and he went away sad, because he had great wealth (Mark 10:17-21).

The Bible says, “But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it” (Matthew 7:14).

Today, Lord Jesus Christ is sitting down at the right hand of the throne of God after enduring the cross and the shame, because He knew the joy that was set before Him (Hebrews 12:2). That is why He told that person, “Take up your cross and follow Me.”

The Bible says, “Surely he took up our infirmities and carried our sorrows, yet we considered him stricken by God, smitten by him, and afflicted. But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was upon him, and by his wounds we are healed” (Isaiah 53:4,5).

Lord Jesus Christ endured all afflictions and pain on the cross in order to grant us life. He gave up His life as a supreme sacrifice on the cross. But on the third day, He rose up from the dead as He had already said (Matthew 28:6). Hence today, we not only meditate over the glorious cross, but also enjoy the forgiveness of sins, holiness and the eternal life granted by God.

When Lord Jesus Christ sojourned on this earth, a sinful woman stood behind Him at His feet weeping. She began to wet His feet with her tears, wiped them with her hair and poured perfume on them. She did that because she had great faith that He would deliver her from her sinful life. That is why Lord Jesus told her, “Your faith has saved you. Go in peace.” The Lord not only forgave her sins, but also granted her eternal life that day (Luke 7:38,39,50).

The Bible says, “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life” (John 3:16; 3:36).

Accordingly, those who believe in Lord Jesus Christ will have eternal life. He purchased eternal life for us by sacrificing His life on the cross. He allowed His body to be torn for us. In case your iniquities and sins are a hindrance to receive eternal life, surrender your life at the feet of Lord Jesus just like that sinful woman. Then you will certainly receive eternal life.

Prayer:

Loving Lord Jesus,

You purchased eternal life for us by sacrificing your life on the cross. I believe in You and surrender my life at your feet. I choose to follow You. Grant me your forgiveness and accept me as your child. Give me the grace to inherit eternal life. May I have treasure in heaven.

I ask this through Christ our Lord.

Amen.

Today's Word of Blessing

OPEN HEAVENPaul Dhinakaran

And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.    (Matthew 28:20)
The Dhinakarans Dearly beloved, the Bible says, “But Stephen, full of the Holy Spirit, looked up to heaven and saw the glory of God, and Jesus standing at the right hand of God. 'Look,' he said, 'I see heaven open and the Son of Man standing at the right hand of God'” (Acts 7:55,56).

About Stephen, the Bible says, “All who were sitting in the Sanhedrin looked intently at Stephen, and they saw that his face was like the face of an angel” (Acts 6:15). Stephen could see an open heaven (Acts 7:56).

In the same way, the Lord will open heaven for you in order to prove that you are not an orphan, and the Spirit of wisdom will descend upon you. The Bible says that everything has been decided even before the creation of the world (Hebrews 4:3).

When He opens heaven for you, He will open your eyes for you to see the blessings He has in store for you. All the decisions of the Lord emanate from the crucifixion of Christ and His precious blood. The Lord grants you His wisdom for you to know what will happen in this world. That is why He said, “Surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age” (Matthew 28:20).

The Jesus Calls ministry is functioning for the past 50 years. Whenever we face problems and difficulties in the ministry as well as in our personal lives, we would not know what to do. At such times, suddenly the heaven would open and Lord Jesus would appear through the Holy Spirit. He would counsel us saying, “Do not worry about anything. You do this in such a way in the ministry/Karunya University/Seesha/family.”

He would also fill us with His wisdom to accomplish what He had said. Whenever we go for Jesus Calls Prayer Festivals, the Lord would come down graciously and bless thousands of people. He also protects our family. Above all, He makes people come in search of us from all over the world, and through them we receive much love. Thousands of people write to us every day. Some of them write to us to know God’s will in their lives.

Once a person wrote, “Brother, I have received a job offer from Europe. They have promised to pay me so many thousand euros as salary. I have another offer from Australia. They have also promised a good salary for me. Please let me know God’s will in this matter.” I humbled myself and prayed sincerely to God for Him to reveal His will in the matter. The Holy Spirit graciously opened my eyes. Whatever he told me, I wrote to that brother.

I wrote, “Please take up this particular job. The other one will not be suitable for you. Although the salary is more in that job, it will not be a permanent one.” He also obeyed the Word of God and took up the job mentioned by me. What a wonder! Within a few days, the company that offered him more salary was closed, whereas in the present company he got a promotion. When I came to know about it, I was greatly thrilled and glorified God.

When heaven is open for us, the Spirit of wisdom gives us counsel in order to lead blessed lives in this world and makes our faces radiant. The Lord will grant you the Spirit of wisdom and He will open your eyes also. Then you will be a blessing in your family, work spot, city and the nation, and through that you will know that the Lord is with you. You will live long and bring the power of God upon others.

Prayer:

Loving Lord Jesus,

You are the Wonderful Counselor. I seek your divine counsel. Fill me with your heavenly wisdom. Give me counsel in order to lead a blessed life in this world. Open my eyes for me to see the blessings You have in store for me. Give me the grace to accomplish your will.

I ask this through Christ our Lord.

Amen.

ABIDE IN GODStella Dhinakaran

The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.    (John 10:10)
The Dhinakarans Dearly beloved, the Bible says, “A cord of three strands is not quickly broken” (Ecclesiastes 4:12). Accordingly, a husband and wife should be united with God. Only then they can lead a joyous married life.

These days, we see many couples leading separated lives due to various problems. Is there a way for them to receive God’s blessings? The Lord is not pleased with couples who are living separately. Such things are earthly, unspiritual and they are from the devil (James 3:15).

Since both my husband and I accepted Lord Jesus Christ as our personal Saviour, we could lead a happy married life from the very beginning. We lived happily for 48 years with one accord filled with the presence of God. The divine peace granted by God filled our family life.

The Bible says, “Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour” (I Peter 5:8).

Today, many couples have fallen prey to the deception of the devil and they are living in darkness. It is the main reason for couples being separated. But it is God’s desire to change this situation and to fill such of them with His peace and joy. He wants them to be united and have oneness of mind. Only those couples who would like to lead such godly lives will receive God’s abundant blessings.

The Bible exhorts, “Seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well” (Matthew 6:33). As mentioned in the above Scripture verse, the husband and wife must give first place to the Lord. Then the Lord will be pleased with them, and He will bless their home with His presence so that it will become easier for the couple to love and respect each other.

Lord Jesus said, “The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full” (John 10:10). He will grant a life full of divine joy and peace to those who abide in Him.

Prayer:

Loving Lord Jesus,

You came to the world to give us abundant life. I give You the first place in my life. Come and dwell in my home. Bless my family. Help us to live in harmony. Enable us to love and respect one another. Grant us a life full of divine joy and peace.

I ask this through Christ our Lord

Amen.

Today's Word of Blessing

A RENEWED LIFEPaul Dhinakaran

And you He made alive, who were dead in trespasses and sins    (Ephesians 2:1)
The Dhinakarans Dearly beloved, Lord Jesus said, "I am the resurrection and the life” (John 11:25). “Because I live, you also will live” (John 14:19).

The same Lord who uttered the above words said, “My soul is overwhelmed with sorrow to the point of death” (Matthew 26:38). His agony was so intense that His sweat fell like drops of blood on the ground (Luke 22:42-44).

That is why He assures you, “Have you come to the end of your life on account of your sorrow? I have gone through this path of sorrow Myself. Hence I know your sorrow. But I have overcome it. Now I have the life and the power of resurrection. If you believe in Me, you will live. I will never leave you nor forsake you. Even amidst this sorrow, I will be with you.”

Dearly beloved, Lord Jesus shall be with you till the end of the age. He will remove your sorrow and resurrect you. So be of good cheer.

There was a brother by name Neelakandan who was addicted to the evil habit of drinking liquor for nearly 13 years. He was married and had a son. Because of his excessive drinking, his wife hated him. His in-laws chased him away from home. Hence he was going through severe poverty. Finally he told his wife, “Now we have no other way. So let all three of us commit suicide.” His wife replied, “No, there is a way. I will take you to a particular place. You must come with me quietly. Before we die, let us visit this place.”

She brought him straightaway to a prayer meeting which was held at the Jesus Calls Campus in Vanagaram, Chennai. Incidentally, I was preaching in that meeting. During the prayer time, being filled with the Holy Spirit, I prophetically said, “Today, Lord Jesus Christ will deliver you from alcohol. He will deliver you from your poverty. He will restore the honour of your family. Lord Jesus is resurrecting you.” Those words touched his heart and the life of Christ flowed into him. He began to cry like a child. At that very moment, the Lord transformed his life totally.

That very day, the Lord delivered him from the clutches of alcoholism. He became a new creature and was filled with joy. He began to lead a happy life along with his wife and child. He who did not have a job till then got a job through a friend. The Lord graciously helped him to repay all his debts. The brother enrolled his son in the Young Partners Plan. He proudly said, “The Lord has blessed me and honoured me. Till now my son was saying, ‘My father is a drunkard.’ But now he says, ‘My father is guiding me in godly ways.’ This is how the Lord has transformed me.”

Yes, it is the Lord who has resurrected Him. He will do the same for you and your family. He shall with you till the end of the world.

The Bible says, “The life of a creature is in the blood” (Leviticus 17:11). It is the Lord who sends His life into you and makes you live. When you confess your sins to Him, His precious blood will sanctify you and remove all your sins. He shed His precious blood only to redeem you. Although you were dead in your transgressions and sins, He sent His life into you and transformed you as His child (Ephesians 2:1). He shall always be with you.

Prayer:

Loving Lord Jesus,

You are the resurrection and the life. I believe in You. I call upon Your name. You are aware of my sorrow as You suffered on the Cross on my sake. Hear my prayer. Sanctify me with your precious blood and renew my life. Remove my sorrow and fill me with joy. Let your presence be with me forever.

I ask this through Christ our Lord

Amen.

A DEVOTED LIFEStella Dhinakaran

The world and its desires pass away, but the man who does the will of God lives forever.    (1 John 2:17)
The Dhinakarans Dearly beloved, we must be careful to lead a godly life in this world. A life devoted to Christ will bring everlasting life.

Once, a man was passing through a dense forest in Africa. On the way, he saw a shining necklace lying on his path. Thinking that somebody else would take it, he picked it up and put it in his mouth. Again he started walking as if nothing had happened. Suddenly, he fell down dead.

What he put in his mouth was not a necklace, but a kind of shining snake that lives in the African forest. Mistaking that snake for a necklace, he lost his life.

Even today, the devil easily cheats us through certain lustful desires. He creates divisions in the families through the lust of the eyes, the lust of the flesh and the pride of life. Since Adam and Eve did not give first place to God but paid heed to the voice of the devil, they lost the glorious opportunity of having a closer walk with God.

The Bible says, “The world and its desires pass away, but the man who does the will of God lives forever” (1 John 2:17). You have to get closer to God in order to receive His grace. You must have the zeal to do His will in order to bring glory to His name. Then He will grant you His grace and enable you to be united with Him. You shall be blessed with everlasting life.

Prayer:

Loving Lord Jesus,

I give You the first place in my life. Turn my eyes away from worthless things. Protect me from the deception of the devil. Give me the grace to have a closer walk with You. Help me to do your will. Bless me with everlasting happiness.

I ask this through Christ our Lord.

Amen.

Today"s Word of Blessing

GOD DELIGHTS TO BLESS YOUPaul Dhinakaran

I will make you into a great nation and I will bless you; I will make your name great, and you will be a blessing.    (Genesis 12:2)
The Dhinakarans Dearly beloved, on this wonderful day, even as you begin the beautiful month of April, I would like to bring to your remembrance a promise of God for you: “Wherever I cause my name to be honored, I will come to you and bless you” (Exodus 20:24).

God desires to place His blessings upon you (Numbers 6:24-26). God gave a commandment to Moses asking Aaron, his brother, the High Priest to pronounce three blessings upon His people.

Whenever people gather to worship God, Aaron was supposed to pronounce those three blessings on behalf of God upon His people.

Dear Friend! God desires to place His divine blessings upon His beloved children. The pastor on behalf of God places these three blessings upon His people and they come to rest on the people of God.

Numbers 6:24 says, “The Lord bless you and keep you.” If you read Genesis 12:2, it is always God’s desire that we should be blessed. You must always remember that it is God’s desire to bless you. He will not only bless you on this day but will keep you blessed forever (Psalm 1:3). Whatever you do shall prosper.

A lawyer named Lionel Luckhoo faced many cases in the Supreme Court and he won in all the cases. He testified for the glory of God in a big convention. Before going to the court he would lay his hands on the case bundle and pray, “Lord! This is not my battle. You please fight for me.” Therefore, he won all the cases.

The Queen of England knighted him as Sir Lionel Luckhoo conferring upon him the highest title. On this day, God is eager to bless you and keep you blessed always. When does this blessing come upon us? This blessing comes upon us when our soul is blessed. The Bible says, “The LORD will keep you from all harm-- he will watch over your life” (Psalm 121:7).

When our soul is blessed, every other blessing follows us. Lord Jesus Christ says, “"But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.” (Matthew 6:33). Therefore, whenever you gather to worship God and honour Him, your soul is being blessed and it prospers.

The Bible asks, “What good is it for a man to gain the whole world, yet forfeit his soul? Mark 8:36). You can rule the whole world but if you do not save your soul, it will not be of any profit to you. Therefore, God says, “When you come to worship Me, I will bless your soul and prosper it.” Shall we seek the Lord diligently and remind ourselves that we ought to remember to say, “God desires to bless me today.”

Prayer:

Loving Lord Jesus,

I seek You with all my heart. You alone are the incomparable God. You are the One who does miracles and mighty acts without number. For with you nothing is impossible. I trust that my help comes from You the maker of Heaven and Earth. I place this entire month into Your loving hands. Please bless me and keep me, make Your face shine up me and grant me Your divine peace.

I ask this through Christ our Lord

Amen.

Today's Word of Blessing

THE SIGNET RING

Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.    (Matthew 11:28)
The Dhinakarans Dearly beloved, God will lift you up in honour. "'On that day,' declares the LORD Almighty, 'I will take you…and I will make you like my signet ring’” (Haggai 2:23).

Kings used to wear signet rings. It is God’s desire to make you a signet ring. He wants to honour you. He says, “I will be with him in trouble and I will deliver him and honour him” (Psalm 91:15).

There was a person by name Joe who was addicted to the evil habit of drinking for 25 years. He used to torment his wife and children. On account of his misdeeds, he was taken to the police station quite often. People in his street would say, “Why this man is coming home?” He was such a cruel person.

Joe saw a lot of people visiting the Jesus Calls Prayer Tower. Suddenly, one day, he too walked into the Prayer Tower. A Prayer Warrior received him with much love and prayed for him with compassion. He was very much comforted, and he started visiting the Prayer Tower regularly. He came seeking Lord Jesus and He delivered him completely from the habit of drinking liquor and sanctified him.

He joined his family in the Jesus Calls Family Blessing Plan. Then he started a business and enrolled the business in the Jesus Calls Business Blessing Plan. He also enrolled his children in the Young Partners Plan. Every month, he sent his offerings to the ministry regularly.

He even brought his friends, who were addicted to the habit of drinking, to the Prayer Tower so that they too can be delivered. The Lord blessed them also through the Prayer Tower. Whomever he meets, he talks to them about the love of Christ and the Jesus Calls Ministry. He brings them to the Prayer Tower and helps them to receive blessings. The Bible says, “The name of the LORD is a strong tower; the righteous run to it and are safe” (Proverbs 18:10).

The Lord who transformed Bro. Joe will certainly bless you also. Just cry out to Him saying, “Lord, please fill me with Your Holy Spirit. You have chosen me even amidst my afflictions. Please help me to come forth as gold.” Then He will surely sanctify you, transform you and make you as a vessel of gold. You will become a vessel of honour, a worthy vessel and a signet ring for God.

Lord Jesus says, “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest” (Matthew 11:28). Accordingly, go into the presence of the Lord and lay all your burdens upon Him. He will refresh your weary soul.

Prayer:

Loving Lord Jesus,

I come to your holy presence. I place my burdens upon You. I trust in You. Deliver me from my afflictions and refresh my weary soul. Sanctify me and transform me into a vessel of gold. Make me a signet ring and lift me up in honour.

I ask this through Christ our Lord

Amen.

GOD THE BUILDERPaul Dhinakaran

Unless the LORD builds the house, its builders labor in vain. Unless the LORD watches over the city, the watchmen stand guard in vain.    (Psalm 127:1)
The Dhinakarans Dearly beloved, God is the Builder of everything.

Psalmist David says, “O LORD Almighty, God of Israel, you have revealed this to your servant, saying, 'I will build a house for you.' So your servant has found courage to offer you this prayer.

"Now be pleased to bless the house of your servant, that it may continue forever in your sight; for you, O Sovereign LORD, have spoken, and with your blessing the house of your servant will be blessed forever” (II Samuel 7:27,29).

The Lord Himself is building the houses of our beloved partners. He has been fulfilling all their needs. He has been showering His blessings upon them.

A sister by name Mary Robin was not blessed with a child for fifteen years. It seems someone told her about the Jesus Calls Prayer Tower. Immediately they visited the Prayer Tower. That day, she happened to watch a miracle which happened through the ministry of my father Bro. D.G.S. Dhinakaran, and that kindled her faith. The Lord performed a miracle. Suddenly she felt very weak and when the doctors examined her, they confirmed that she was pregnant. The Lord graciously granted her the gift of a child after fifteen years and built up her family.

You who are redeemed by the Lord will sing with great joy. Everlasting joy will crown your head and you will obtain joy and gladness. The Bible says, “Unless the LORD builds the house, its builders labor in vain” (Psalm 127:1). Only Lord Jesus can build your family. Submit yourself to the Lordship of Lord Jesus Christ. Then He will come and dwell in your home and fill it with His divine love. He will surround your home with joy, peace and protection.

Prayer:

Loving Lord Jesus,

You are the Builder of all things. I submit myself to your Lordship. Come and dwell in my home. Fill it with your divine love. Supply all the needs of my family and grant them good health. Enable us to enjoy your abundant blessings. Surround my home with joy, peace and protection.

I ask this through Christ our Lord

Today's Word of Blessing

HOLD FAST TO GODStella Dhinakaran

A faithful man will abound with blessings    (Proverbs 28:20)
The Dhinakarans Dearly beloved, God will bless you in double measure.

The Bible says, “Dear children, let us not love with words or tongue but with actions and in truth” (I John 3:18). According to the above mentioned Scripture verse, you must love God not with your words but with your actions. Come what may, you should cling on to Lord Jesus. Only a very few people cling on to Him in spite of various difficulties.

Joseph was a devout youngster. As he could not tolerate the misdeeds of his brothers, he reported them to his father. So they rose against him, harmed him and chased him away. On account of that, he was separated from his parents even while he was quite young.

His master’s wife tried to deceive him and hence he was put in prison. Although she tried her best to entice him, he did not fall into temptation. Instead he said, “How then could I do such a wicked thing and sin against God” (Genesis 39:9). He was so faithful to the Lord and led a holy life.

The Lord blessed Joseph and exalted him in the nation. He changed the situation in such a way that those who rose up against him came and fell at his feet.

My dearly beloved youngsters, of course, it is difficult to overcome all temptations and lead a holy life. But when you cling on to God firmly, He will grant you success in everything. He will enable you to receive double portion of blessing in this world itself. The Lord who blessed Job and Joseph and exalted them will certainly exalt you also.

The Bible says, “A faithful man will be richly blessed” (Proverbs 28:20). Hold fast to the Lord and lead a blameless life. Trust in Him and wait for Him. He will deliver you from your afflictions and honour you. He will shower His rich blessings upon you.

Prayer:

Loving Lord Jesus,

I love You with all my heart. I cling on to You. I choose to follow You faithfully. Give me the grace to lead a holy life. Shower your rich blessings upon me. Bless me and exalt me. Grant me success in everything. Prosper me abundantly.

I ask this through Christ our Lord

Amen.
