Today's Word of Blessing

THE ETERNAL MANSIONEvangeline Paul Dhinakaran

The LORD your God is with you, he is mighty to save. He will take great delight in you, he will quiet you with his love, he will rejoice over you with singing.    (Zephaniah 3:17)
  Dearly beloved,

Recently, we went to Israel to get the key for the Israel Prayer Tower. All of us, including those who had accompanied us were very happy, when we got the key.

We opened the building and stepped in, shouting joyously, “Lord, we thank You for bringing us to the land of Israel and helping us to possess the 20th floor of such a big building.”

This glorious deed which the Lord has done for the Jesus Calls ministry was like a dream to us. I rejoiced in the spirit thinking, ‘Oh! We are happy over this building; how much more we will be happy when the Lord shows us the mansion He has built for us in heaven!”

Once the Prayer Tower in Israel is dedicated, Christian leaders not only from India but also from many other nations and people from the Prayer Towers all over the world will come there. When they thus step in considering it as their own house, they will utter prophecies and the Lord will do great things.

After my father died, my husband’s father Bro. D.G.S. Dhinakaran saw a vision and shared it with me. He said, “I saw your father in heaven; he is happily walking around a big and beautiful flower garden. While on earth, he used to wear only white shirts; but in heaven I was surprised to see him dressed up in a bright coloured dress with floral designs."

On hearing this, I told him, “My father was very fond of gardening; most of the time, he would be in the garden gazing at the plants and flowers. That’s why the Lord has taken him to the garden in heaven.”

Then he wanted to know why my father was wearing a shirt with floral designs. I told him, “Actually, my father loved to wear such shirts. Once he went to a shop and bought a bright coloured one with floral designs. But as he kept on looking at it, he developed severe headache and started vomiting. So he removed it and said that he would wear only white shirts from then onwards.

"As he could not wear the desired shirt on this earth, the Lord has clothed him with such attire after he went to heaven.” Hearing that, he wondered because he never knew about all these. But how beautifully God had shown him this wonderful sight!

Yes, the things which we desire but could not enjoy in this world will be given for us in heaven by the Lord. He will fulfill even our smallest desire. What a good God we have!

Dearly beloved, when we go to the temple of God (His presence), He will exalt us and make us rejoice; He will give us the life of resurrection and make us happy. He will make us rejoice in His eternal home. May the Lord fill you with His presence and make you glad!

The Bible says, “The LORD your God is with you, he is mighty to save. He will take great delight in you, he will quiet you with his love, he will rejoice over you with singing” (Zephaniah 3:17). The Almighty God who is powerful to deliver you is with always with you. He will comfort you with His love and rejoice over you.

Prayer:

Loving Lord Jesus,

You are my Heavenly Father. You have promised to grant your blessings to your children. I trust in your promises. Give me the grace to live faithfully before You and receive the reward you have in store for me. Enable me to rejoice in the hope of eternity.

I ask this through Christ our Lord

Amen.

GOD GIVES PEACEStella Dhinakaran

Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.    (John 14:27)
The Dhinakarans Dearly beloved,

On 21st May 1986, I lost my precious daughter who was 17 years old in a tragic car accident. After this tragedy, I was about to preach for the first time. That morning, I prepared my sermon with much prayer.

As I was about to leave for the meeting, I heard as if someone was saying, “Stella, what are you going to preach there? Can you say that God can do miracles? He did not perform a miracle for you. You have lost your daughter. Then how can you preach that the Lord is good?”

I knew it was the voice of the devil who wanted to prevent me from preaching the Gospel. At that moment, my heart was shattered and tears started welling up in my eyes. Immediately the Holy Spirit told me, “Go with confidence. I will grant you the necessary strength to preach.” Since I shed my tears at the feet of God, He filled me with His Holy Spirit in an abundant measure.

When I got up to preach, I was scared whether I would break down. I thought, in that case, the people would be disappointed. But the Lord strengthened me and used me mightily that day. After the meeting, a sister pushed through the crowd, came to me and hugged me. She said, “Sister, recently I lost my child. So I thought that I would not do the Lord’s ministry again. But your message was of great consolation to me. The Lord has now given me the confidence to do His ministry.”

The Lord says, “Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid” (John 14:27). The Bible advises, “Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus” (Philippians 4:6,7).

As mentioned in the above Scripture verses, the Lord of peace Himself will grant you His peace and comfort you. He has already carried all your sorrows on the cross (Isaiah 53:4). He has swallowed up death for ever (Isaiah 25:8). So kindly do not be worried. He will build up your family and turn your sorrow into joy.

Prayer:

Loving Lord Jesus,

You have swallowed up death for ever. You have carried all my sorrows on the cross. Restore comfort to my soul and strengthen my faith. Let your peace rule my heart. Wipe away my tears and turn my sorrow into joy.

I ask this through Christ our Lord.

Amen.

Today's Word of Blessing

GOD WILL REWARD YOUStella Dhinakaran

Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap.    (Luke 6:38)
The Dhinakarans Dearly beloved, God will richly reward you.

Many years ago, my husband and I had to face financial problems. After the 20th of every month, we would not have money at all. I was very prudent in spending. Hence I didn’t appoint a maid to do the household work. I did all the work myself. But still, there was no end to our financial problems.

It was at that time the Lord spoke to us through the Holy Spirit. He said, “Give your income into My hand. I will bless it and increase it.” Accordingly, as soon as my husband got his salary, both of us would kneel down and pray.

My son Paul Dhinakaran was just three years old then. We would give the salary in his hand and place our hands upon it and pray for God to bless it. Then the Lord blessed my husband with a promotion in his job and thus increased his salary. That is how the Lord changed our financial condition.

The Lord says, “Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. Test me in this," says the LORD Almighty, "and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that you will not have room enough for it” (Malachi 3:10).

During the initial stages of my married life, I did not know the importance of tithing. Since my husband’s salary was very meager, I was wondering as how we could manage the whole month after giving one tenth of his salary to God. I was gripped by unbelief. But my husband was very faithful in giving his tithe every month.

The Lord who promised, “I will open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that you will not have room enough for it,” proved this promise true in my life hundred percent. The hand of God began to supply all our needs in a miraculous manner every month.

Dearly beloved, the Bible says, “Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap” (Luke 6:38). You too should be careful in giving one tenth of your income to the Lord. Then the Lord will bless you in an abundant measure.

Prayer:

Loving Lord Jesus,

You are my Provider. I trust in You. Bless the work of my hands. Bless my income and increase it. Resolve my financial problem. Throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out your blessing upon me. Supply all my needs in a miraculous manner.

I ask this through Christ our Lord.

Amen.

GOD ANSWERS YOUR CRYStella Dhinakaran

The lions may grow weak and hungry, but those who seek the LORD lack no good thing.    (Psalm 34:10)
The Dhinakarans Dearly beloved, God will not ignore your tears. He will listen to your cry for help and deliver you from distress.

In 1969, my husband Bro. D.G.S. Dhinakaran fell very sick. Both his lungs were affected. The doctors told me, “At the most, your husband may live just for one more month.” I felt as if I was left all alone. Both my children were too small at that time. I did not know what to do.

At this juncture, my husband said, “Day by day, I am becoming very weak. I do not know when I will die.” When I heard it, I was shattered. Immediately, I clung on to the feet of God and cried out to Him. The Lord heard my prayer and graciously healed my husband in a miraculous manner. He also started using him mightily in His ministry.

Dearly beloved, please do not think that you have been forsaken by everyone. Don’t think that your life has come to an end. Instead, cling on to God firmly.

The Lord has abundant blessings in store for you as mentioned in the following Scripture verses: No longer will they call you Deserted, or name your land Desolate. But you will be called Hephzibah, and your land Beulah; for the LORD will take delight in you, and your land will be married. You will be a crown of splendor in the Lord's hand, a royal diadem in the hand of your God” (Isaiah 62:4,3).

The Bible says, “The lions may grow weak and hungry, but those who seek the LORD lack no good thing” (Psalm 34:10). Accordingly, when you lead a righteous life, you will lack no good thing in life.

Prayer:

Loving Lord Jesus,

I seek You above all things in life. I cling on to You firmly. Deliver me from my distress. Bestow favour and honour upon me. Make me a crown of splendor in your hand. Fill me with good things. May I lack nothing in life.

I ask this through Christ our Lord.

Amen.

REAPING IN JOYPaul Dhinakaran

Those who sow in tears shall reap in joy.    (Psalm 126:5)
The Dhinakarans Dearly beloved, how true is the following promise of God: “Those who sow in tears will reap with songs of joy” (Psalm 126:5).

Every day, thousands of people get in touch with the Jesus Calls ministry seeking our prayers. Since we have offered ourselves as living sacrifices to do His ministry even amidst our afflictions and tears, the Lord is using us mightily for His glory.

Dearly beloved, the Lord will also grant you the same grace. Probably you have lived your life as a living sacrifice for Him even amidst your sorrow and tears. Perhaps you have borne everything patiently just for the sake of the Lord.

So the Lord who has blessed our family and ministry in an abundant measure will certainly open the floodgates of heaven and bless you too. He will bless you in such a way that there will not be room enough to store those blessings. He will remove your sorrow and wipe away your tears. He will also increase you a thousand times (Deuteronomy 1:11).

The Lord will specially bless His servants openly who are doing His ministry amidst tears and humiliation, because they have offered themselves as living sacrifices. He will enlarge their territories. Whatever they do will prosper and they will have eternal joy.

The devil will never trouble them and they will carry the Word of God joyfully. As they sow in tears, they will reap with joy. The Lord will comfort them, console them and reward them hundred times both in their family life and in their ministry. They will see this happening from today.

Prayer:

Loving Lord Jesus,

I offer myself as a living sacrifice to You. I choose to serve You wholeheartedly. Open the floodgates of heaven and bless me as You have promised. Remove my sorrow and wipe away my tears. Prosper me in all things. Reward me hundred times. Enable me to reap a harvest of blessings with songs of joy.

I ask this through Christ our Lord.

Amen.
