HUMILITY LEADS TO HONOURPaul Dhinakaran

God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble.    (1 Peter 5:5)
The Dhinakarans Dearly beloved, humility leads to honour.

Look closely at the life of Judas, a disciple of Lord Jesus. He had been with the Lord! Yet because of the pride that arose in him, he belittled His supernatural grace and accused Him. So the devil entered into him. Because of the pride that swelled up in him, he even betrayed Him (Mark 14:45).

Look at the thief who hung on the cross beside Lord Jesus. The Bible says, “In the same way the robbers who were crucified with him also heaped insults on him” (Matthew 27:44).

But in the end, one of them, on knowing that Lord Jesus was the Son of the Almighty God, repented and pleaded with Him: "Jesus, remember me when you come into your kingdom" (Luke 23:42).

Lord Jesus forgave Him so freely saying: "I tell you the truth, today you will be with me in paradise" (Luke 23:43) and granted him a place in heaven. Yes! He grants his grace to the one who humbles himself.

But as for Judas, though he repented of his deed, he didn’t go to the Lord for forgiveness. Perhaps, if Judas had humbled himself and returned to Lord Jesus, He would have surely forgiven him. He would have accepted him also just as He forgave and accepted that thief. But the proud decision of Judas ended in his suicide.

Dearly beloved, perhaps you might have drifted away from God! You might have disobeyed your parents or teachers or elders or talked defying your neighbours. Yet come back right now to Lord Jesus and plead: “Lord! I have done the wrong deeds. I have disobeyed my parents and sinned against my neighbours. Please forgive me.”

When you become a child of God, it is so easy to live happily in your home and work peacefully in your office! When you humble yourselves before God, He will grant you His grace to obey your parents in all matters. Always live in concord with your parents. Didn’t Lord Jesus obey His parents and live in concord with them? The Bible also exhorts us, “Children, obey your parents in everything, for this pleases the Lord” (Colossians 3:20).

Dear friend! When you turn back to Lord Jesus, He will grant you His grace! He will bless all your efforts. He will grant peace in your home! You can then write your examination with the wisdom He gives. You can work peacefully in your office! The Lord will grant you His grace.

The Bible says, "God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble” (1 Peter 5:5). When you walk in humility before God, He will be pleased with you. He will grant you His supernatural grace. He will exalt you at the right time. You will gain honour among your family, friends and relatives.

Prayer:

Loving Lord Jesus,

I humble myself before You. I repent and seek your forgiveness. Remember me in your mercy. Wash me with your precious blood and grant me your forgiveness. Accept me into your fold and grant me divine peace. Shower your blessings upon me and exalt me in life.

I ask this through Christ our Lord
Amen.

Nevertheless, I will bring health and healing to it; I will heal my people and will let them enjoy abundant peace and security.    (Jeremiah 33:6)
The Dhinakarans Dearly beloved, our God is the Mighty Healer.

The Bible relates, “When the crowds heard Philip and saw the miraculous signs he did, they all paid close attention to what he said. With shrieks, evil spirits came out of many, and many paralytics and cripples were healed. So there was great joy in that city” (Acts 8:6-8).

The above mentioned Scripture verses clearly portray as to how Philip, the disciple of Lord Jesus was used mightily in Samaria. In the same way, you will see the mighty healing power of Lord Jesus Christ being revealed this year.

Prior to that, Lord Jesus will reveal His healing power both in your life as well as in the Jesus Calls Ministry in an unprecedented manner. He will put an end to all your problems and diseases.

Lord Jesus Christ is the Healer and He will heal you completely. You will enjoy good health in your body. In case you are going through sickness, tell the Lord, “Lord, I believe that You are the Healer. I thank You because you are healing me and sending your joy into me and into my family.” Then the Lord will grant you perfect healing, and you will enjoy everlasting joy.

The Lord says, “Nevertheless, I will bring health and healing to it; I will heal my people and will let them enjoy abundant peace and security” (Jeremiah 33:6). Today's Word of Blessing

A USEFUL VESSELStella Dhinakaran

But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.    (Matthew 6:33)
Dearly beloved, you are God’s chosen vessel.

Lord Jesus Christ spoke in the following manner about the poor widow who put two coins as her offering: “All these people gave their gifts out of their wealth; but she out of her poverty put in all she had to live on” (Luke 21:4).

In another place, a sinful woman poured perfume on the head of Lord Jesus and wiped His feet with her tears. Lord Jesus testified about her saying, “I tell you the truth, wherever the gospel is preached throughout the world, what she has done will also be told, in memory of her” (Mark 14:9).

While Lord Jesus Christ sojourned on this earth, He fed more than five thousand people by multiplying the five loaves of bread and the two fish brought by a little boy (Matthew 14:17-21). He performed such a mighty miracle.

Like that little boy when you too come forward to do all that you can for the Lord, He will do great things through you also. When you plead with God to fill you, your home and your work spot with His presence, He will surely do it. He will bless you and your family in an abundant measure.

It is nearly 27 years since my daughter Angel died. Even today, I shed tears whenever I think about her. But today, God has given countless people who love me like their own sister or like their own mother. The Lord has enabled us to taste the true love of these dear ones through this tragedy. Now we know how many people are praying sincerely for us. The Lord has also placed a burden in our hearts to work with more vigour for Him so that we can arise and shine for Him.

A few sisters known to me kept on asking me to write a book exclusively for women. But I hesitated to do it. As I was going through the agony of losing my daughter, the Lord graciously enabled me to write a book entitled ‘Priceless Pearl’ in that same year. Then He guided me to write many more books. Yes, the Lord will never let you down when you go through afflictions and agony. He will grant you the necessary grace to do at least something for Him.

Dearly beloved, the Bible says, “The least of you will become a thousand, the smallest a mighty nation” (Isaiah 60:22). Accordingly, it is God’s desire to use you even though you are the least one. Are you hesitating to do the ministry on account of your financial status? But it is God’s desire to do great and mighty things through you.

The Bible says, “But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well” (Matthew 6:33). Seek the Lord wholeheartedly. Then He will use you as His mighty vessel for His glory. He will also give everything you need.

Prayer:

Loving Lord Jesus,

I seek You wholeheartedly. I choose to serve You faithfully. Deliver me from my afflictions and strengthen me by your grace. Bless me and my family in an abundant measure. Give me the grace to arise and shine for You. Use me as a vessel to bring glory to your name.

I ask this through Christ our Lord

Amen.

Today's Word of Blessing

OUR DIVINE COUNSELOR

I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you and watch over you.    (Psalm 32:8)
Dearly beloved, Lord Jesus Christ is the Wonderful Counselor.

It is God’s desire that you should excel in every area of your life. The Lord will grant you His wisdom today without measure. All the treasures of wisdom and knowledge are hidden in Him (Colossians 2:3), and He will certainly grant them to you.

All of us have studied about Sir Isaac Newton. He was brought up by his grandmother. She would always emphasize the importance of reading the Scripture and prayer. Therefore, Sir Isaac Newton never failed to read the Scripture every day. He would also faithfully pray before doing anything.

Once while he was lying under an apple tree, he saw an apple falling from the tree. At that moment, the Lord gave him the thought, “Why this apple is falling down?” It was that thought that made him to invent the ‘Law of Gravity.' In the same way, the Lord will also grant you His wisdom to do greater things for His glory. He will help you to grow in the secular knowledge as well as in the knowledge of God.

The Lord says, “I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you and watch over you” (Psalm 32:8). God will speak to you through His Word. He will guide you with His counsel. He will teach you what is best for you and direct you in the right path. He will prevent you from walking in the wrong path. He will lead you to success. You will excel in every area of your life.

Prayer:

Loving Lord Jesus,

You are the Wonderful Counselor. You are the source of all wisdom and knowledge. I delight in your words and keep them in my heart. Help me to gain divine wisdom. Guide me in the right path and lead me to success. Help me to excel in every area of my life.

I ask this through Christ our Lord

Amen.
