Today"s Word of Blessing

GOD DELIGHTS TO BLESS YOUPaul Dhinakaran

I will make you into a great nation and I will bless you; I will make your name great, and you will be a blessing.    (Genesis 12:2)
The Dhinakarans Dearly beloved, on this wonderful day, even as you begin the beautiful month of April, I would like to bring to your remembrance a promise of God for you: “Wherever I cause my name to be honored, I will come to you and bless you” (Exodus 20:24).

God desires to place His blessings upon you (Numbers 6:24-26). God gave a commandment to Moses asking Aaron, his brother, the High Priest to pronounce three blessings upon His people.

Whenever people gather to worship God, Aaron was supposed to pronounce those three blessings on behalf of God upon His people.

Dear Friend! God desires to place His divine blessings upon His beloved children. The pastor on behalf of God places these three blessings upon His people and they come to rest on the people of God.

Numbers 6:24 says, “The Lord bless you and keep you.” If you read Genesis 12:2, it is always God’s desire that we should be blessed. You must always remember that it is God’s desire to bless you. He will not only bless you on this day but will keep you blessed forever (Psalm 1:3). Whatever you do shall prosper.

A lawyer named Lionel Luckhoo faced many cases in the Supreme Court and he won in all the cases. He testified for the glory of God in a big convention. Before going to the court he would lay his hands on the case bundle and pray, “Lord! This is not my battle. You please fight for me.” Therefore, he won all the cases.

The Queen of England knighted him as Sir Lionel Luckhoo conferring upon him the highest title. On this day, God is eager to bless you and keep you blessed always. When does this blessing come upon us? This blessing comes upon us when our soul is blessed. The Bible says, “The LORD will keep you from all harm-- he will watch over your life” (Psalm 121:7).

When our soul is blessed, every other blessing follows us. Lord Jesus Christ says, “"But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.” (Matthew 6:33). Therefore, whenever you gather to worship God and honour Him, your soul is being blessed and it prospers.

The Bible asks, “What good is it for a man to gain the whole world, yet forfeit his soul? Mark 8:36). You can rule the whole world but if you do not save your soul, it will not be of any profit to you. Therefore, God says, “When you come to worship Me, I will bless your soul and prosper it.” Shall we seek the Lord diligently and remind ourselves that we ought to remember to say, “God desires to bless me today.”

Prayer:

Loving Lord Jesus,

I seek You with all my heart. You alone are the incomparable God. You are the One who does miracles and mighty acts without number. For with you nothing is impossible. I trust that my help comes from You the maker of Heaven and Earth. I place this entire month into Your loving hands. Please bless me and keep me, make Your face shine up me and grant me Your divine peace.

I ask this through Christ our Lord

Amen.

Today's Word of Blessing

THE SIGNET RING

Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.    (Matthew 11:28)
The Dhinakarans Dearly beloved, God will lift you up in honour. "'On that day,' declares the LORD Almighty, 'I will take you…and I will make you like my signet ring’” (Haggai 2:23).

Kings used to wear signet rings. It is God’s desire to make you a signet ring. He wants to honour you. He says, “I will be with him in trouble and I will deliver him and honour him” (Psalm 91:15).

There was a person by name Joe who was addicted to the evil habit of drinking for 25 years. He used to torment his wife and children. On account of his misdeeds, he was taken to the police station quite often. People in his street would say, “Why this man is coming home?” He was such a cruel person.

Joe saw a lot of people visiting the Jesus Calls Prayer Tower. Suddenly, one day, he too walked into the Prayer Tower. A Prayer Warrior received him with much love and prayed for him with compassion. He was very much comforted, and he started visiting the Prayer Tower regularly. He came seeking Lord Jesus and He delivered him completely from the habit of drinking liquor and sanctified him.

He joined his family in the Jesus Calls Family Blessing Plan. Then he started a business and enrolled the business in the Jesus Calls Business Blessing Plan. He also enrolled his children in the Young Partners Plan. Every month, he sent his offerings to the ministry regularly.

He even brought his friends, who were addicted to the habit of drinking, to the Prayer Tower so that they too can be delivered. The Lord blessed them also through the Prayer Tower. Whomever he meets, he talks to them about the love of Christ and the Jesus Calls Ministry. He brings them to the Prayer Tower and helps them to receive blessings. The Bible says, “The name of the LORD is a strong tower; the righteous run to it and are safe” (Proverbs 18:10).

The Lord who transformed Bro. Joe will certainly bless you also. Just cry out to Him saying, “Lord, please fill me with Your Holy Spirit. You have chosen me even amidst my afflictions. Please help me to come forth as gold.” Then He will surely sanctify you, transform you and make you as a vessel of gold. You will become a vessel of honour, a worthy vessel and a signet ring for God.

Lord Jesus says, “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest” (Matthew 11:28). Accordingly, go into the presence of the Lord and lay all your burdens upon Him. He will refresh your weary soul.

Prayer:

Loving Lord Jesus,

I come to your holy presence. I place my burdens upon You. I trust in You. Deliver me from my afflictions and refresh my weary soul. Sanctify me and transform me into a vessel of gold. Make me a signet ring and lift me up in honour.

I ask this through Christ our Lord

Amen.

GOD THE BUILDERPaul Dhinakaran

Unless the LORD builds the house, its builders labor in vain. Unless the LORD watches over the city, the watchmen stand guard in vain.    (Psalm 127:1)
The Dhinakarans Dearly beloved, God is the Builder of everything.

Psalmist David says, “O LORD Almighty, God of Israel, you have revealed this to your servant, saying, 'I will build a house for you.' So your servant has found courage to offer you this prayer.

"Now be pleased to bless the house of your servant, that it may continue forever in your sight; for you, O Sovereign LORD, have spoken, and with your blessing the house of your servant will be blessed forever” (II Samuel 7:27,29).

The Lord Himself is building the houses of our beloved partners. He has been fulfilling all their needs. He has been showering His blessings upon them.

A sister by name Mary Robin was not blessed with a child for fifteen years. It seems someone told her about the Jesus Calls Prayer Tower. Immediately they visited the Prayer Tower. That day, she happened to watch a miracle which happened through the ministry of my father Bro. D.G.S. Dhinakaran, and that kindled her faith. The Lord performed a miracle. Suddenly she felt very weak and when the doctors examined her, they confirmed that she was pregnant. The Lord graciously granted her the gift of a child after fifteen years and built up her family.

You who are redeemed by the Lord will sing with great joy. Everlasting joy will crown your head and you will obtain joy and gladness. The Bible says, “Unless the LORD builds the house, its builders labor in vain” (Psalm 127:1). Only Lord Jesus can build your family. Submit yourself to the Lordship of Lord Jesus Christ. Then He will come and dwell in your home and fill it with His divine love. He will surround your home with joy, peace and protection.

Prayer:

Loving Lord Jesus,

You are the Builder of all things. I submit myself to your Lordship. Come and dwell in my home. Fill it with your divine love. Supply all the needs of my family and grant them good health. Enable us to enjoy your abundant blessings. Surround my home with joy, peace and protection.

I ask this through Christ our Lord

Amen.

HOLD FAST TO GODStella Dhinakaran

A faithful man will abound with blessings    (Proverbs 28:20)
The Dhinakarans Dearly beloved, God will bless you in double measure.

The Bible says, “Dear children, let us not love with words or tongue but with actions and in truth” (I John 3:18). According to the above mentioned Scripture verse, you must love God not with your words but with your actions. Come what may, you should cling on to Lord Jesus. Only a very few people cling on to Him in spite of various difficulties.

Joseph was a devout youngster. As he could not tolerate the misdeeds of his brothers, he reported them to his father. So they rose against him, harmed him and chased him away. On account of that, he was separated from his parents even while he was quite young.

His master’s wife tried to deceive him and hence he was put in prison. Although she tried her best to entice him, he did not fall into temptation. Instead he said, “How then could I do such a wicked thing and sin against God” (Genesis 39:9). He was so faithful to the Lord and led a holy life.

The Lord blessed Joseph and exalted him in the nation. He changed the situation in such a way that those who rose up against him came and fell at his feet.

My dearly beloved youngsters, of course, it is difficult to overcome all temptations and lead a holy life. But when you cling on to God firmly, He will grant you success in everything. He will enable you to receive double portion of blessing in this world itself. The Lord who blessed Job and Joseph and exalted them will certainly exalt you also.

The Bible says, “A faithful man will be richly blessed” (Proverbs 28:20). Hold fast to the Lord and lead a blameless life. Trust in Him and wait for Him. He will deliver you from your afflictions and honour you. He will shower His rich blessings upon you.

Prayer:

Loving Lord Jesus,

I love You with all my heart. I cling on to You. I choose to follow You faithfully. Give me the grace to lead a holy life. Shower your rich blessings upon me. Bless me and exalt me. Grant me success in everything. Prosper me abundantly.

I ask this through Christ our Lord

Amen.

HUMILITY LEADS TO HONOURPaul Dhinakaran

God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble.    (1 Peter 5:5)
The Dhinakarans Dearly beloved, humility leads to honour.

Look closely at the life of Judas, a disciple of Lord Jesus. He had been with the Lord! Yet because of the pride that arose in him, he belittled His supernatural grace and accused Him. So the devil entered into him. Because of the pride that swelled up in him, he even betrayed Him (Mark 14:45).

Look at the thief who hung on the cross beside Lord Jesus. The Bible says, “In the same way the robbers who were crucified with him also heaped insults on him” (Matthew 27:44).

But in the end, one of them, on knowing that Lord Jesus was the Son of the Almighty God, repented and pleaded with Him: "Jesus, remember me when you come into your kingdom" (Luke 23:42).

Lord Jesus forgave Him so freely saying: "I tell you the truth, today you will be with me in paradise" (Luke 23:43) and granted him a place in heaven. Yes! He grants his grace to the one who humbles himself.

But as for Judas, though he repented of his deed, he didn’t go to the Lord for forgiveness. Perhaps, if Judas had humbled himself and returned to Lord Jesus, He would have surely forgiven him. He would have accepted him also just as He forgave and accepted that thief. But the proud decision of Judas ended in his suicide.

Dearly beloved, perhaps you might have drifted away from God! You might have disobeyed your parents or teachers or elders or talked defying your neighbours. Yet come back right now to Lord Jesus and plead: “Lord! I have done the wrong deeds. I have disobeyed my parents and sinned against my neighbours. Please forgive me.”

When you become a child of God, it is so easy to live happily in your home and work peacefully in your office! When you humble yourselves before God, He will grant you His grace to obey your parents in all matters. Always live in concord with your parents. Didn’t Lord Jesus obey His parents and live in concord with them? The Bible also exhorts us, “Children, obey your parents in everything, for this pleases the Lord” (Colossians 3:20).

Dear friend! When you turn back to Lord Jesus, He will grant you His grace! He will bless all your efforts. He will grant peace in your home! You can then write your examination with the wisdom He gives. You can work peacefully in your office! The Lord will grant you His grace.

The Bible says, "God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble” (1 Peter 5:5). When you walk in humility before God, He will be pleased with you. He will grant you His supernatural grace. He will exalt you at the right time. You will gain honour among your family, friends and relatives.

Prayer:

Loving Lord Jesus,

I humble myself before You. I repent and seek your forgiveness. Remember me in your mercy. Wash me with your precious blood and grant me your forgiveness. Accept me into your fold and grant me divine peace. Shower your blessings upon me and exalt me in life.

I ask this through Christ our Lord
Amen.

THE HEALING POWER OF GODPaul Dhinakaran

Nevertheless, I will bring health and healing to it; I will heal my people and will let them enjoy abundant peace and security.    (Jeremiah 33:6)
The Dhinakarans Dearly beloved, our God is the Mighty Healer.

The Bible relates, “When the crowds heard Philip and saw the miraculous signs he did, they all paid close attention to what he said. With shrieks, evil spirits came out of many, and many paralytics and cripples were healed. So there was great joy in that city” (Acts 8:6-8).

The above mentioned Scripture verses clearly portray as to how Philip, the disciple of Lord Jesus was used mightily in Samaria. In the same way, you will see the mighty healing power of Lord Jesus Christ being revealed this year.

Prior to that, Lord Jesus will reveal His healing power both in your life as well as in the Jesus Calls Ministry in an unprecedented manner. He will put an end to all your problems and diseases.

Lord Jesus Christ is the Healer and He will heal you completely. You will enjoy good health in your body. In case you are going through sickness, tell the Lord, “Lord, I believe that You are the Healer. I thank You because you are healing me and sending your joy into me and into my family.” Then the Lord will grant you perfect healing, and you will enjoy everlasting joy.

The Lord says, “Nevertheless, I will bring health and healing to it; I will heal my people and will let them enjoy abundant peace and security” (Jeremiah 33:6). Ask the Lord to heal you and place your faith in Him. He will heal you by His mighty power and restore you to perfect health. He will bless you with never-ending peace and protect you at all times.

Prayer:

Loving Lord Jesus,

You are the Mighty Healer. I ask You to heal me. Please listen to my prayer and reveal your mighty healing power in my life. Remove all my problems and diseases. Grant me perfect healing. Enable me enjoy good health. I give You all glory.

A USEFUL VESSELStella Dhinakaran

But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.    (Matthew 6:33)
Dearly beloved, you are God’s chosen vessel.

Lord Jesus Christ spoke in the following manner about the poor widow who put two coins as her offering: “All these people gave their gifts out of their wealth; but she out of her poverty put in all she had to live on” (Luke 21:4).

In another place, a sinful woman poured perfume on the head of Lord Jesus and wiped His feet with her tears. Lord Jesus testified about her saying, “I tell you the truth, wherever the gospel is preached throughout the world, what she has done will also be told, in memory of her” (Mark 14:9).

While Lord Jesus Christ sojourned on this earth, He fed more than five thousand people by multiplying the five loaves of bread and the two fish brought by a little boy (Matthew 14:17-21). He performed such a mighty miracle.

Like that little boy when you too come forward to do all that you can for the Lord, He will do great things through you also. When you plead with God to fill you, your home and your work spot with His presence, He will surely do it. He will bless you and your family in an abundant measure.

It is nearly 27 years since my daughter Angel died. Even today, I shed tears whenever I think about her. But today, God has given countless people who love me like their own sister or like their own mother. The Lord has enabled us to taste the true love of these dear ones through this tragedy. Now we know how many people are praying sincerely for us. The Lord has also placed a burden in our hearts to work with more vigour for Him so that we can arise and shine for Him.

A few sisters known to me kept on asking me to write a book exclusively for women. But I hesitated to do it. As I was going through the agony of losing my daughter, the Lord graciously enabled me to write a book entitled ‘Priceless Pearl’ in that same year. Then He guided me to write many more books. Yes, the Lord will never let you down when you go through afflictions and agony. He will grant you the necessary grace to do at least something for Him.

Dearly beloved, the Bible says, “The least of you will become a thousand, the smallest a mighty nation” (Isaiah 60:22). Accordingly, it is God’s desire to use you even though you are the least one. Are you hesitating to do the ministry on account of your financial status? But it is God’s desire to do great and mighty things through you.

The Bible says, “But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well” (Matthew 6:33). Seek the Lord wholeheartedly. Then He will use you as His mighty vessel for His glory. He will also give everything you need.

Prayer:

Loving Lord Jesus,

I seek You wholeheartedly. I choose to serve You faithfully. Deliver me from my afflictions and strengthen me by your grace. Bless me and my family in an abundant measure. Give me the grace to arise and shine for You. Use me as a vessel to bring glory to your name.

I ask this through Christ our Lord

Amen.
